Match Me to a Florida Region: Find Your Best-Fit Destination in 60 Seconds

Six questions on budget, lifestyle, flight access, community type, climate tolerance, and pace. The quiz scores your answers against the eight Florida destinations we actually work — from The Villages and Ocala down through Orlando, Port St. Lucie, West Palm Beach, Broward (Parkland / Coral Springs / Weston / Davie), Fort Lauderdale, and Miami. Your top three matches in under a minute.

Question 1 of 60%

What's your budget for the primary home?

We use this to filter destinations where your target dollar actually buys a single-family home.

How the quiz scores your answers

Each answer adds weighted points to each of the eight destinations. The rubric is deterministic — same answers always produce the same ranking — and lives in a public file so the logic can be audited. No machine learning, no black-box recommendation engine.

Three notes on scoring:

  • Budget is a soft filter, not a hard cut. A $400K budget doesn't get zero points for Miami — it gets low points because the inventory match is weaker. If two non-budget answers strongly point to Miami, it can still rank high.
  • Lifestyle and pace carry more weight than climate. Most out-of-state buyers self-correct on hurricane tolerance inside a few months — the bigger long-term satisfaction driver is whether the day-to-day feels right.
  • The 55+ question maps to property type, not your age. HOPA-qualified communities like The Villages are a property classification. We never ask your age, family status, or any other protected characteristic.

Region match quiz — frequently asked questions

How does this Florida region quiz actually work?+
Six multiple-choice questions, each weighted against the eight Florida destinations Buy Sell Diva covers. Your answers add scored points to each destination; the three highest-scoring destinations become your matches. The scoring rubric lives in a public data file so it can be audited and tuned — no black-box AI, no manipulative pacing.
Why only eight Florida destinations and not the whole state?+
These are the eight markets Buy Sell Diva and our referral network actually work — Central Florida (Orlando, The Villages, Ocala), Treasure Coast (Port St. Lucie), Palm Beach County (West Palm Beach), Broward (Parkland, Coral Springs, Weston, Davie, Fort Lauderdale), and Miami-Dade. Florida has dozens of submarkets we admire and recommend referral partners in; the quiz scores against the ones we have first-hand transactional experience in.
Do I have to enter an email to see my results?+
No. Your top match and the two secondary matches are shown for free as soon as you finish the quiz. The optional email form below the results is if you want a personalized follow-up — Beth or Griff will reply within 24 hours with real inventory in your top match, neighborhood-level pricing, and a relocation timeline. No automated drip, no sales sequence.
Is the quiz fair-housing compliant?+
Yes. The questions ask about lifestyle preferences and property features (budget, walkability, climate tolerance, pace) — never about protected characteristics. The one question about 55+ communities asks whether you prefer a HOPA-qualified active-adult property classification; that's a property type, not a description of you. We never ask the user's age, family status, or any other protected characteristic.
What if my top match feels wrong?+
The quiz is a starting heuristic, not a verdict. Retake it with different answers, or skip straight to a 30-minute call with Beth or Griff — they can talk through your real situation and tell you which destinations are worth visiting first. The free Florida Tax Savings Calculator and 7-phase relocation checklist are also useful companions: the calculator answers "how much do I save?" and the checklist answers "what's the timeline?".
Does the quiz work for international buyers or buyers from states the quiz doesn't explicitly cover?+
Yes. The quiz doesn't ask about your origin — only about what you want from a Florida home. Buyers from California, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Texas, or internationally get the same scoring. We have dedicated state-origin guides only for the highest-volume corridors (NY, NJ, CT, MA, IL) right now; the quiz fills the gap for everyone else.
I already know which Florida region I want — is the quiz useful for me?+
Probably not as a region-decider, but it can sanity-check the decision in two minutes. More often, buyers who think they want one thing end up with a strong second-match score for somewhere quite different — usually because their lifestyle answers and budget answers point to different markets. If your top three matches all agree with each other, you're probably on the right track.
